  • Absolutely! But if Angels for Kids chooses to furnish that particular need or want we will at that time have to contact a parent or legal guardian.

  • Due to the amount of requests that we recieve, it is important to us to take time to review each application thoroughly. After recieving your request, we will usually respond in one to two weeks. If you have not heard from us within a two week period, please resubmit your application.

  • Yes. We will respond to all applications, including those that we are unable to fill. Please feel free to resubmit the same request the following month. Just because a request was rejected this month does not mean that it will be rejected the next. Because funds are limited, we have to be very selective so that we can help as many kids as possible.

  • A child that is determined to be eligible before his or her 16th birthday can receive a gift from Angels for Kids.

  • No. Angels for Kids only grants wishes to children who are determined to be eligible before their 16th birthday. There are other wish-granting organizations that grant wishes to adults.

  • Some examples of things that the foundation might fund are summer programs, enrichment classes, field trips, music or art programs, sports equipment, science equipment, special needs enrichment, etc. (NO DAYCARE)

  • Angels for Kids will not fund daycare, medical supplies or medicine, food, clothing, or school supplies. We are providing help strictly on the basis of enrichment. See the Links page for assistance in these other areas. No basic needs.

  • Unfortunately, every situation we come across is different, and this makes it hard for us to establish a set of strict guidelines that we could use to determine the validity of any given request. Bear in mind that every request we recieve is seriously considered, but it is not possible for us to provide every applicant with assistance. We thus make these decisions strictly on a case-to-case basis.

  • Once again, it is important to note that each situation is reviewed on a case-to-case basis, so there are no hardfast rules or guidelines. However, it is safe to assume that Angels For Kids will generally provide no more than $400. When making a request, it is very important to request the EXACT amount needed, no guestimating. Although we would love to assist everybody who applies, we need to make sure that we can help as many children as possible. Please keep this in mind as you apply. No funds will be paid directly to the individual requesting granting of a grant.

  • Not usually, although Angels for Kids does reserve the right to request a personal interview if it is needed to determine whether a child is eligible to receive the contribution. Most of the time this is not necessary and determinations can be made over the telephone and by e-mail.

  • Yes, definitely. We understand the need for privacy, and thus, we pledge not to sell your information to anybody, or use any of it publicly without your consent. We strongly encourage you, however, to send us a testimonial to tell others about your experience with Angels For Kids!

  • Family income is generally not a consideration in determining whether a child is eligible to receive a gift.

  • Angels for Kids is privately funded by a family foundation located in Central Florida. The foundation would like to concentrate on helping the local community.

  • No. However, the members of the family foundation are Christians who believe in lending a helping hand to those in need.

"...Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us." -Romans 12:6

  • No. Angels For Kids is a privately owned and operated, non-profit foundation.
